Quilt for Kids

Just when I thought there was no further time in my day, I have discovered quilting. I used to tell my sister I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than sew all those little squares together, but after seeing some fabulous quilts at a show, I was impressed at the artistry of some of these creations and have been bitten by the quilting bug.

So I've taken on sewing a quilt wall hanging and also working with my daughter's Girl Scout Troop to make quilts as a service project for Quilts for Kids, a wonderful organization that donates quilts to sick children in the hospital. Project Linus also is a great organization that also needs donated quilts. If you want to get involved, make a quilt or donate fabric or supplies to the organization.

First order ships for $2.95
